This year has gone so fast, only two days until Christmas, it seems one month has run into another. Everyone is growing, mostly happy, and busy at our house.
Lydia (13) 8th grade, piano, taught herself how to play bassoon, organ, flute, dance (ballet), church choir, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, tumbling, student council vice president, tennis, and high honor roll, released as beehive president, broke her right ankle this year.
Ryan (12) 8th grade, switched from flute to drums, piano, student council, O Ambassadors, chess, karate, church choir, swim team, received the priesthood, 1st class Scout,
Elayna (10) 4th grade, school choir, hand chimes, piano, tumbling and trampoline team (practices 4-6 hours a week), swim team, science fair project on making compost.
Nataly (7) 2nd grade, piano, tumbling, swim team, art, is feisty and sweet, good friend and student.
Cruz (3), preschool , tumbling, hugs & kisses, bites & hits (he is all boy, may be part animal), copycat (you say it, so will he, be careful), LOVES to be outside, and does not like wearing shoes, first thing he does when we get to church or in the car is take off his shoes and socks. Had 8 staples in the back of his head after a nasty fall, loves trucks, wants a backhoe (a real one).
Scout (5) bird chaser, Cruz avoider, howls when Nataly whines and cries (which is quite often). Floor cleaner, human food hunter!
Rebecca, kids driver, primary president, church choir, and addictive reader. Volunteers at schools as needed.
Willy, works, gyms, Boy Scout advancements leader, Young Men’s Duty to God leader. Traveled with Med Flight to Ireland, Egypt, Nigeria, Canada, Iceland, Chile, Greece, Italy, and spent less than 24 hours in each place,
Our travels (driving) this year involved Hilton Head Island, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia, a camping trip to Port St Joe, Florida.
We have been blessed beyond expression this year. We are wishing you all the joy of the holiday season and the blessings of a Happy New Year.
With much Love,
The Vergara Family
